When you place an order you will be required to submit a 000 non-refundable deposit that is applied to the total. This will secure your place in the build queue and begin the communication process. We will contact you to finalize your unit design. Once that is finalized we will contact you to secure the non-refundable 50% deposit to order parts. Once the unit begins the build process we will secure the final payment and inform you of the next steps including pickup.
Our current lead time from when the finalized order is placed until the unit is complete is about 3-4 months. Lead times will vary with custom orders.
Our strong preference is that you come to the shop to pick up your camper. This allows us to walk you through everything and give us the opportunity to try to address any concerns you may have at that point. That said, we do work with an RV freight company that would be able to deliver your camper to you if that's what you need.
As with all other manufacturers, individual components (fridge, furnace, AC, etc.) are covered by the manufacturer of those components. For everything else, we offer a one year warranty. It is extremely important to us that you are completely satisfied with your camper and your experience with us.
While we believe that we can provide the best service, we understand that there may be situations where it is not feasible to return to our shop. In those cases (with preauthorization) we will work with you to find a dealer or mobile service technician to take care of any covered warranty work at our cost.

At Grumpy Bear Campers, every camper design is created 100% by our team. The layout, structure, functionality, and overall design of each camper are conceived, engineered, and built by Grumpy Bear Campers—not by artificial intelligence.
We do, however, use modern AI image tools in a limited way to help potential customers better visualize how our campers might look when they are being used in real-life situations. These tools allow us to present realistic scenes that illustrate how a camper might appear while set up at different types of campsites or environments.
AI is also occasionally used to enhance real photographs. Because our campers are compact and efficient by design, photographing the interiors can be challenging in tight spaces. Image enhancement tools help us improve lighting, perspective, and clarity so that the features of the camper are easier to see.
In some cases, we may also place the truck and camper into different outdoor settings to demonstrate possible camping scenarios. These images are intended solely to help illustrate how our campers may look in use. They do not change the underlying camper design, which remains entirely created and controlled by Grumpy Bear Campers.
